Leaf Lion

The leaves in autumn are such wonderful colours and there seems to be loads of beautiful things you can do with them. After a visit to the zoo we went on a walk through the park and collected some so we could recreate the lion we saw (totally inspired by be a fun mum)

You will need:

  • Leaves
  • Glue
  • Paper
  • Black card or paper

First we made sure that all our leaves were dry and selected the best ones for the job!

Next we stuck down the head leaf.

Then we created the mane with smaller leaves.

Finally we cut our eyes, a nose and a mouth out of card and stuck them on.

Hey presto a lion!!!

We also created a few mini pictures of birds with our left over leaves.
